FAQ
How do I get Scout Rider?
Does a cavalry unit replace my commander’s horse?
Can I use a published Cavalryman or Lancer cost to plan evolution?
Where is Scout Rider recruited?
AllThings. How’s September 5 guide includes Scout Rider in the Standard Banner recruitment pool. Go to the current recruitment interface and inspect the displayed pool before spending. The report supports a place to look, not a guaranteed pull or a percentage chance.
The same source separates army units from the commander’s horse and horse cosmetics. Keep those purchases distinct: obtaining a mount or a cosmetic does not establish that you recruited this troop. The beginner guide covers the broader recruitment and match loop. If you want to try reported promotional rewards first, the codes page records their sources and unresolved validity.
How can you use its mobile role?
The guide describes Scout Rider as a mobile cavalry option and associates Triangle formation with fast pushes. Use that as a starting role to learn, rather than proof of a speed value, special charge multiplier or automatic advantage against a particular enemy.
Try a controlled approach:
- Choose the purpose of the move: reach an objective, approach a fight from another direction, or help an existing push. Avoid changing all three at once while learning the commands.
- Bring the unit with you and check that it has actually regrouped before advancing. Your commander reaching the destination does not mean the troop is there.
- Select the formation available on the current unit interface. If Triangle is offered, compare how the unit moves with the arrangement you were using previously.
- Commit where your team can support the fight. After the engagement, regroup and check surviving troops before making the next push.
These are editorial practice suggestions. MimoBlox discusses a triangle arrangement around 07:24, but automatic captions and an early gameplay recording cannot establish today’s damage, pathfinding or match balance.
What should the rest of the army do?
A mobile unit works best as part of a plan with distinct jobs. If you also own a defensive troop, let it establish the position from which support can operate; use the cavalry for the movement task you selected. Shieldman’s guide gives an example of that defensive role. Ranged support is another reported option when your available budget can accommodate it.
If you cannot fit all those jobs, simplify the plan. Choose the troops you can actually equip for the current task rather than copying a high-budget lineup. The beginner army guide offers alternatives based on role and ownership. No fixed number of cavalry units or universal star limit is implied.
What does evolution reporting say?
Community material reports a Scout Rider to Cavalryman to Lancer path. That is a research lead, not a confirmed recipe in the shared data. In particular, two community tables disagree on Cavalryman and Lancer star values. We do not resolve that disagreement by choosing the value that makes a suggested army fit.
Follow the evolution walkthrough to inspect the reported unit-level gate and the target shown in the Evolve panel. Before committing, compare the target’s displayed equip requirement with your current budget. An evolved unit that you cannot equip may not solve the problem you are working on.
What are the limits of this recommendation?
Do not treat mobility as a reason to send the troop beyond all support. A fast approach and a successful engagement are different outcomes. If your army loses contact or is forced into an unfavorable approach, regroup and change one decision before trying again.
This profile intentionally has no invented HP, attack speed, pull rate or star-cost table. For an equipment failure, use the star-limit guide; for a matchup decision, observe the result with the actual units and conditions you own.
